IT specialists from Karelia entered the top five teams at the all-Russian tournament

As reported in the public page “Sport is the norm of life in Karelia,” a team of programmers from Karelia entered the top five at the Russian championship in sports programming.
The tournament took place from December 6 to 11 in Moscow. 190 participants from 23 regions of the country came to compete at the championship. According to the organizers of the competition, Russia became the first country in the world to recognize sports programming as a sport.
The Federation of Sports Programming of Karelia was represented by Anton Bely, Igor Koshkarev, Kirill Krishtal and national team coach Ruslan Alkin. The programmers were congratulated on their worthy result.
Previously reportedthat students from Petrozavodsk won medals at all-Russian competitions.
