Apple has announced its second fall presentation. A month and a half has passed since the launch of the iPhone 15, and the Apple corporation is already ready to introduce several more fresh devices. The Scary Fast event, with an obvious Halloween reference, is scheduled for October 31 at 3:00 a.m. ET.
According to Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman, the new iMac and MacBook Pro will be shown to the public. According to the specialist’s forecast, among the line of announced electronics, one should expect several configurations of a candy bar with a diagonal of 24 inches, and the most likely versions among laptops are laptops with diagonals of 14 and 16 units.
Gurman reinforces his assumptions with a noticeable shortage of iMac and MacBook Pro computers both on the Internet and in retail. Promised delays in their deliveries stretch until mid-November. This is not the first time such signs have been observed in history. And usually they indirectly indicate that Apple is preparing to introduce new products.
The iMac is expected to be the highlight of the presentation. The company has not updated the current all-in-one model for more than 900 days. It’s also one of the few devices in the Mac lineup that still runs on the M1 chip. And there is a fairly high chance that the new product will receive a chipset with a generation jump – M3. The latter in this case will be another important debutant at the event.
Meanwhile, new laptops were initially expected in the spring of next year. And if they are launched at the end of this October, then the generation of chips for the new line of MacBook Pro is a big question. Largely due to the time difference between generations.
Another new product, but much less likely, could be a fresh version of HomePod. Several sources confirm tests of the Apple smart speaker, which has a built-in touch display. It is expected to at least display notifications and a music services interface.
