The British government said that as part of an agreement between the UK Space Agency and the American company Axiom, a crew of four astronauts will be sent to the ISS.
The flight will be the UK’s first commercial space mission.
The crew commander will be Timothy Peake, who has already visited the ISS in 2015. The remaining astronauts are also British, one of whom, John McFall, is missing a leg.
McFall lost his right leg in a motorcycle accident when he was 19 years old. In 2008, he became a bronze medalist at the Beijing Paralympic Games in the 100 meters. He became the first person with a disability to be chosen to fly into orbit.
