According to the publication, Kolesnikova’s connection with Fedyakina’s business is indicated by a publication on her website dedicated to the Bitmama project. However, after the businesswoman was detained, this page was deleted, although it remained in the Yandex cache.
At the same time, the interlocutor of aif.ru, who was well acquainted with Fedyakina’s activities, noted that the girl is really well versed in cryptocurrency, but in a few years she managed to turn from a crypto expert into a swindler. He also added that Bitmama accepted cash in the Russian Federation, and issued cash abroad – through its own agents.
Lawyer Alexander Khaminsky agreed with the opinion of the publication’s anonymous interlocutor. According to him, a Russian woman could do such a successful business on her own.
Khaminsky clarified that with the beginning of the SVO, Russia was disconnected from SWIFT, as a result of which it became impossible to transfer money using the usual methods. Then “shadow exchangers” who worked through cryptocurrency came to the Russians’ aid. Fedyakina became a representative of one of these exchangers, he added.
