As for hotel bookings, the number of requests has increased by 60% compared to the same period in 2023. Payment turnover doubled, and the number of buyers increased by 53%, service expert Irina Polyakova spoke about this.
On the weekend of February 23-25, Yaroslavl became one of the most popular and inexpensive options for a short trip. Russians are also actively booking housing in Nizhny Novgorod, Tula, Veliky Novgorod and Kaliningrad. Ski resorts are still popular – for example, Sheregesh or Krasnaya Polyana: fans of this sport are rushing to grab the end of the season.
The average cost of one night in a hotel or apartment in Russia on holidays is 4,738 rubles per day. People rent housing for an average of three days and spend 12,747 rubles on rent.
As for air tickets, a flight from Moscow to St. Petersburg and back this weekend will cost at least 9,500 rubles (subject to departure on the evening of February 22, after the end of the working day). A flight to Kaliningrad under the same conditions will cost 16-17 thousand rubles, and you can fly to Sochi for 22 thousand. Those who are in the mood for a short trip abroad can expect tickets to Yerevan (26 thousand) or Istanbul (at least 41 thousand).
