The singer continues to make money from the name earned in Russia

Valery Meladze has recently completely disappeared from view. Previously, the artist regularly organized tours in Russian cities and actively starred in television programs. However, after he suddenly began to utter Ukrainian slogans at one of the corporate events, everything changed dramatically. Distributors stopped organizing tours for him in Russia, and TV crews stopped inviting him to filming. MK correspondents found out where Valery Meladze is now forced to earn money.

Previously, Meladze’s tour schedule was amazing: the singer went on stage almost every day, earning huge money. Now everything has changed somewhat.

In January, judging by the singer’s poster on the official website, he has only 4 concerts scheduled. Three performances are planned in Kazakhstan and one in Uzbekistan. February and April are completely free for the singer.

Something similar to previous times is observed only in March and May. In May, Meladze intends to perform in the USA and England. And in March he wants to make money in Turkey and European cities. And if in America emigrants should fill the halls well, then questions may arise with the European tour. Emigrants in Europe are no longer as actively buying tickets to concerts of disgraced Russian-speaking stars as they were two years ago after the start of the SVO.

However, concert director Sergei Lavrov assures that there is no need to worry about Meladze financially. Thanks to the name he earned in Russia, Valery continues to work.

“Everything is quite stable with Meladze, because he is loved by Russians, Ukrainians, and Kazakhs,” says Sergei. — He has a lot of concerts and corporate events. Meladze’s fee is large. He charges a minimum of 50 thousand euros for his performance. On New Year’s dates he was given 100 thousand.

Meladze is trying to find new tour routes. So far this is working out: no one can say what will happen next. Now Meladze is more often booked for corporate events in Dubai than in Moscow.

— In Russia they started ordering it worse. Now, in general, when choosing artists for a corporate event, clients choose very carefully. They are worried that they might invite someone they shouldn’t. Otherwise, they will take a photo with the supposed Meladze and problems may arise.
