Today, Nikolai continues to answer calls from friends who could not get through yesterday from as many as two phones, and sorts out congratulatory telegrams – more than a hundred of them have arrived. Of course, the most valuable thing for the artist was the congratulations from the President of Russia, which came exactly on the day of the anniversary. Vladimir Putin noted the artist’s “bright and generous” talent, “amazing efficiency and dedication to his favorite work.” Putin noted that this is what allowed Tsiskaridze to “reach recognized heights in the profession,” and he also especially noted “the mentoring activity of the artist as rector of the Academy. Vaganova.”
The President wished the artist “health, inspiration and good luck,” congratulating him not only on his anniversary, but also on the upcoming New Year. Thus, Tsiskaridze became the first Russian to be congratulated by the president on 2024.
