“When examining the runway, specialists discovered damage to the asphalt pavement. The damage area is about 30 square meters,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to him, the situation is critical, but restoration work needs to be carried out. Today until approximately 18:00 the airport will not accept or depart flights.
Arriving planes were redirected to the airport in Mineralnye Vody. The governor instructed the regional Mindor to provide maximum assistance in carrying out repair work, provide materials and equipment.
