VTsIOM: 76% of Russians intend to come to the presidential elections
The All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM) conducted a survey among Russians and found out how many citizens intend to come to the polls. According to the survey results, 76% of respondents intend to come to the upcoming Russian presidential elections in March. The relevant statistics are published on website VTsIOM.
“The declared turnout for the upcoming presidential elections at the beginning of February 2024 is 76%,” the report says.
It is clarified that 62% of citizens who took part in the survey said that they would definitely take part in the elections, 14% said they would most likely take part.
In addition, it is noted that the level of information among the population about the upcoming elections is 85%, of which 81% correctly named the month and time of year/year of holding, and 4% – only the year.
Also, after a survey conducted by VTsIOM, it turned out that if the presidential elections in Russia were held next Sunday, then 75% of respondents would vote for Vladimir Putin, 5% for Vladislav Davankov (“New People”), Nikolai Kharitonov (Communist Party of the Russian Federation) — 4%, Leonid Slutsky (LDPR) – 4%.
