Journalist Engelhardt: Germany creates problems for tourists who want to visit Russia
Journalist Dirk Engelhardt in his article for Berliner Zeitung stated that now tourists from Germany who want to visit Russia are faced with great difficulties even when purchasing a ticket.
According to him, the Berlin tourist office said that tickets to Russia are not sold for ethical reasons.
“Among other things, there are no trains from Poland to Kaliningrad, so you have to take a bus. My question about tickets to Gdansk was also refused,” Engelhardt noted.
He clarified that he received a Russian visa without any problems, and booking a hotel in Russia went quickly. As a result, the journalist traveled to Gdansk by train, and from there by bus to Kaliningrad.
