Data from the air travel tracking portal Flightradar indicate that a medical flight took off from Moscow to Germany.
Thus, according to the information posted on the portal, a Bombardier Learjet 60 business jet registered in Germany took off from the capital’s Vnukovo airport at about 13:00 Moscow time. For some time the plane was moving with the transponder turned off, after which it entered Latvian airspace.
The flight’s arrival point, according to Flightradar, is the airport in the German city of Hannover. The plane is expected to fly over the Baltic Sea before landing in Germany within an hour.
However, it is unknown who may be on board the air ambulance aircraft. As a rule, special permission is issued for the flight of such aircraft, which is granted if the flight is carried out for humanitarian purposes, for example, to transport a patient for treatment.
