As part of the “It’s Fun to Walk Together” project, weekly adaptive horse riding classes are held for residents of Ishim and the Ishim region with disabilities, during which participants receive not only physical activity, but also positive emotions from interacting with horses. In addition, they learn to control their body, develop coordination and improve balance.

Project participants note the positive impact of classes on their physical and emotional well-being. Many of them noticed improved posture, increased muscle strength and flexibility, as well as increased self-esteem and self-confidence.

The project “It’s Fun to Walk Together” received the support of local authorities and aroused great interest from residents of the Ishimsky district. Organizers from the Ishim city public organization “Equestrian Sports Federation” and the “Centaur” equestrian club hope that thanks to this initiative, people with disabilities will receive additional opportunities for rehabilitation and adaptation.

The project will be completed at the end of 2023.
