Iran International reports that Iranian actresses who refused to wear the hijab were officially banned from participating in film projects.

According to the publication, the films already shot with these artists will still be released in order to protect the interests of film producers who have made significant investments in the production of films. At the same time, the head of the Supervision Department, Habib Ilbeygi, emphasized that these actresses will be prohibited from participating in any upcoming film productions.

As Iran International noted, the actresses who will no longer be able to act in films include Baran Kosari, Vishka Asayesh, Panteha Bahram and others, famous in Iran.
