All the Larisa Ivanovnas of the country dreamed of agreeing with him, but Kikabidze’s heart belonged only to Irina Kebadze, the prima of the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theater. Irina Georgievna supported her husband both in grief and in joy. Together they managed to overcome a dangerous illness: the wife did not leave her seriously ill husband for a minute. And he confidently got to his feet, because there was still a very long way ahead.
