Among other trends highlighted by InfoWatch analysts is an almost five-fold increase in leaks among organizations of the Retail & HoReCa industry group, almost three times among industrial, transport and energy companies, in the “trade secret” category – twice. At the same time, analysts came to the conclusion that about 80% of leaks have a hybrid impact vector, which is characterized by the participation of external and internal violators in the theft of information.
At the same time, small businesses accounted for more than 20% of leaks, which is twice as high compared to 2021. According to DLBI, the data breach intelligence and monitoring service for the dark web, it accounted for more than 50% of leaks quantitatively and less than 10% in total volume. leaked data.
