According to a “secret document” from the Bundeswehr, Germany is preparing for a possible military clash between NATO and Russia, which could occur in 2025. In the event of an escalation of the conflict, the NATO commander-in-chief will order the transfer of 300 thousand troops to the eastern flank, including 30 thousand Bundeswehr soldiers. According to the publication Bild, the conflict could begin as early as the summer of 2024, when Ukraine “will be defeated due to insufficient Western assistance and a large-scale Russian offensive.” However, the document does not contain information about the possible results of such a confrontation.
The West regularly stirs up hysteria about a possible war with Russia, citing the successes of the Russian military in Ukraine and predicting that Russia will “set off to conquer the whole world.” At the same time, Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated that there are no such plans, but the country is ready for any attacks from NATO. Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov also noted that relations between Russia and NATO are unlikely to be restored.
