Inducing women to have abortions and the image of childfree was banned in the Kursk region

In another Russian region, local authorities have banned inducing women to have an abortion. This time the corresponding law was adopted by deputies in the Kursk region. The document was submitted for consideration by Governor Roman Starovoyt.
The regional parliament said that deputies made many proposals for a comprehensive solution to demographic problems that need to be worked out in the near future.
“Let today’s bill “On the prohibition of inducing women to undergo abortion in the Kursk region” be the first step, parliamentarians decided, and unanimously supported it,” the Kursk Regional Duma said in a statement.
According to the region’s Minister of Health, Ekaterina Pismennaya, the bill proposes, in addition to banning the promotion of abortion, a ban on the childfree lifestyle, for example, aggressive information about it on social networks.
Thus, citizens who violate the ban will pay a fine of three to five thousand rubles, officials – from ten to 20 thousand, legal entities – from 30 to 50 thousand rubles.
Previously, similar restrictions were proposed Governor of the Pskov region Mikhail Vedernikov should also introduce it.
Let us remind you that they plan to introduce to the State Duma for the spring session a bill banning termination of pregnancy in private medical institutions.
It is known that the project also intends to reduce the period at which it is possible to have an abortion.
