India put Pragyan rover into sleep mode

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has put the Pragyan rover into sleep mode, ISRO said on its X page (formerly Twitter).
“Lunokhod completed its tasks. Now it is safely parked and put into sleep mode, ”the message says.
The rover is scheduled to return to work on September 22 after sunrise.
On August 23, the lander of the Indian lunar station Chandrayaan-3 successfully made a soft landing at the south pole of the moon. The mission launched on July 14, when the LVM-3 launch vehicle with the device lifted off from the country’s main spaceport in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh. On August 5, the Chandrayaan-3 station entered the lunar orbit, which was the third successful entry into the orbit of an Earth satellite in the history of the country.
On August 28, it was reported that India received the first temperature data from the surface of the moon.
