Last weekend, February 18 and 19, Yar-Sale hosted the Heroes Cup charity hockey tournament in support of northerners participating in a special military operation and in memory of men who died at the front. The results of the competition were reported in the press service of the administration of the Yamal region.
The first place was taken by a team from the Shuryshkarsky district, local hockey players came second, and Salekhard team took bronze. The money raised at the event will go to the district association of combat veterans.
It is planned to hold the next “Cup of Heroes” next year.
