In Yar-Sale, the reconstruction of the old court was launched; a martial arts center under the Yamal brand “Northern Character” will be opened in this building. On June 29, the head of the Yamal region Andrey Kugaevsky announced the start of work.
“I’m sure this place will become the new pride of our area, where everyone can find something to their liking!” – the head of the municipality wrote on his pages in social networks.
Currently, dismantling work is underway at the facility, the design project of the modern center is ready. Workers will completely change the appearance and functionality of the court. For the “Northern Character” they will acquire the necessary inventory and equipment.
Already in the spring of 2024, Yarsalinsky residents will be able to visit the gym and fitness rooms, and engage in martial arts.
Recall that only in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District planned to the arrangement of 17 martial arts centers of this network. In Salekhard, Labytnangi, Aksarka and Novy Urengoy, sports complexes are already open, next in line are Noyabrsk, Purpe, Krasnoselkup, Yar-Sale, as well as another center in Novy Urengoy. The plans are to provide Tarko-Sale, Gubkinsky, Muravlenko, Nadym, Tazovsky and Muzhi with similar halls.
