In Voronezh, a military sports fitness club “Close Combat Studio” will prepare young people for self-defense

The presentation of the military sports club of the original fitness format “Close Combat Studio” took place in Voronezh on Saturday, December 16. The new site appeared with the assistance of the regional branch of DOSAAF Russia.
A group of teachers from the DOSAAF Special Training Center of Russia, led by Alexander Shlychkov, proposed a practical type of competitive activity – athletic all-around. The new format takes into account the interest of young people in physical activity in combination with applied skills. This will make it possible to prepare different groups of the population to withstand direct and indirect threats to human health and well-being in the modern world.
Young people of conscription and pre-conscription age who will be able to productively prepare for military service are invited to take part in the classes. Students will receive military-applied skills at the club:
- knife throwing;
- will practice their skills on shooting simulators;
- engage in effective development of physical qualities;
- will gain experience in primary pre-medical care for various injuries;
- will undergo an innovative self-defense system;
- prepare for a parachute jump;
- master the techniques of mixed martial arts.
