In Ukraine, the chairman of the Supreme Court was detained on suspicion of corruption

How informs Ukrainian agency Strana.ua, citing data from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, in Nezalezhnaya on suspicion of taking a bribe, the head of the Supreme Court of the country, Vsevolod Knyazev, was detained.
“NABU… uncovered a scheme for obtaining illegal benefits by the leadership and judges of the Supreme Court. Urgent investigative actions are being carried out,” the report says.
According to ex-People’s Deputy Serhiy Leshchenko, as part of this investigation, the head of the Supreme Court of Ukraine Vsevolod Knyazev (he has held this post since December 1, 2021) was detained, and a search is being carried out at his place.
As the head of the Nikolaev OVA, Vitaly Kim, clarified, Knyazev is suspected of taking a bribe in the amount of $2.7 million.
