The young man reportedly administered the group “Where are the subpoenas? Lutsk/Volyn region. His messages made it possible for Ukrainians of military age to evade receiving subpoenas.
The resource was discovered by the Ukrainian security forces in March, and its owner was charged with “obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.” The home of the owner of the telegram channel was searched. A month later, he was sentenced to five years in prison with a two-year probationary period.
According to investigators, the actions of the channel’s administrator could have entailed “negative consequences for the national security of Ukraine.”
