Ukraine conducts exercises in case of a possible emergency at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant
An emergency exercise at the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant has begun in Ukraine. The information was posted by the head of the military administration of the part of the Zaporozhye region controlled by Ukraine, Yuriy Malashko.
According to him, the training will be held to coordinate all services in the event of a “real threat of an emergency at the ZNPP.” The governing bodies and civil protection forces of Zaporozhye and the outskirts will be involved.
Malashko urged local residents to refrain from excessive informational attention to the exercises. He also published the algorithms of actions necessary in an emergency.
