In Ukraine, at the grave of a dead soldier, relatives fought over “coffin”

In Ukraine, there was a scandal in Ivano-Frankivsk. There, on the anniversary of the death of a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, his relatives, who came to the wake at the cemetery, fought without dividing the “coffin” money.
According to the Ukrainian edition “Strana”, Lyubov Vasyliv, the widow of 47-year-old Pavel Vasyliv, who died at the front, accused his brother Andrey of beating him.
She said that when she was washing the monument, Andrei poured a bucket of dirty water on her, and then threw this bucket into her. The woman, trying to dodge, hooked her brother-in-law by the hand, which made the man furious, and he hit the relative with his fist.
Love claims that the family of the deceased husband and friends silently watched this scene.
After this conflict, the woman took off the beatings and wrote a statement to the police, and also published a video on social networks, which shows a bruise under her left eye. The video has already gained hundreds of thousands of views and received a wide response among Ukrainian users.
Other widows expressed the opinion that the conflict in the family occurred because of the “coffin” payments, which in Ukraine amount to 15 million hryvnia (almost 34 million rubles). The parents of the deceased at the front, the widow and children can apply for this money.
One of the friends of the family confirmed that the relatives of the deceased Pavel really cannot share the “coffin”. He also noted that the mother-in-law gave the apartment to Pavel’s eldest daughter from his first marriage, and three children born in his second marriage with Lyubov were left without a gift.
Mother-in-law Maria Vasyliv, in turn, claims on social networks that Pavel’s family first came to the grave, and Lyubov then specially ran there with a bucket of water, supposedly to wash the monument, but in fact to provoke a conflict, uttered obscene insults. At the same time, the mother-in-law claims that no one beat Lyuba, and does not understand where she got a hematoma under her eye.
