On the fence of the temple of the UOC in the Khmelnytsky region of Ukraine left an inscription with a threat of reprisal

Unknown people left an inscription with a threat of reprisal on the fence of the temple of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the Khmelnytsky region. About it in Telegram reported UOC with reference to the Khmelnitsky diocese.

The inscription “Let’s cut out all Moscow priests” appeared on June 27 in the city of Krasilov on the fence of the Church of the Nativity. The press service of the Khmelnytsky diocese noted that calls for reprisals against the priests of the UOC “only play into the hands” of the enemy, weaken the Ukrainian people from within and spoil the country’s authority at the international level.

The diocese explained that there are no “Moscow priests” in Ukraine, since Ukrainians live, work and pray in the country. Archpriest Peter Koval, rector of the Church of the Nativity of Christ, filed a complaint with the police.

It is noted that earlier schismatics from the Orthodox Church of Ukraine threatened to seize the Church of the Nativity in Krasilov and cut the wheels of the rector’s car. Archpriest Peter Koval believes that the local authorities are behind this.
