Turkey’s tourism industry expects the country’s government to resolve the problem with the work of the Russian payment system “Mir” as soon as possible. This was stated by the President of the Association of tourists and businessmen of the country of Kemer Ryza Sonmez.

“Commercial relations between Turkey and Russia are a matter of national scope and importance,” he said.

Sonmez expressed concern that due to problems with Mir cards, Russian tourists will begin to change their preferences, choosing other countries for their holidays.

Earlier it became known that all Turkish banks stopped servicing Mir cards.
