In the evening, athletes from the regional figure skating federation performed in front of the Tula residents at the Gubernsky skating rink.
“Each performance was accompanied by quatrains of famous poets and writers. The audience also saw fragments from the musicals “Chess” and “Treasure Island,” the press service of the Tula Government reported.
The festive program was not limited to this. On March 8, public skating was organized from ten o’clock in the morning, musical compositions in a romantic style were played, and guests of the skating rink were treated to Tula gingerbread cookies. The provincial skating rink in Tula will be open until the seventeenth of March.
