In 2024, it is planned to open a sexologist’s office at the Surgut Clinical Psychoneurological Hospital.
The functions of sexologists, according to the order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, will include the provision of primary health care to persons suffering from mental disorders associated with sexual development and orientation, as well as disorders of gender identity and sexual preference.
Patients may be subject to coercive measures.
