Development of an analogue of the popular football simulator FIFA has begun in Russia. This was announced by the head of the All-Russian Federation of Physical Sports Nikita Nagorny. He hoped that the result could be seen “soon.”
“In fact, I know that it is already being developed,” Nagorny said. “The agenda was not to ask the president to develop it, but to ask him to support the initiative,” Nagorny said.
At the same time, he emphasized that it usually takes decades, not a year, to develop such analogues. However, work is already underway.
Russian President Vladimir Putin recently visited the Future Games, where he became familiar with the idea of creating an analogue of FIFA. Former Russian national team striker Andrei Arshavin approached the head of state with this proposal.
