Due to bad weather in the Rostov region, one hundred thousand local residents were left without electricity on Monday, November 27. The governor of the region, Vasily Golubev, wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
He noted that during this period, emergency response services are operating on high alert, and more than 5.5 thousand specialists are involved in organizing assistance to people.
“The most unfavorable situation has developed in the territory of Rostov-on-Don, Azov, Taganrog, Azovsky, Myasnikovsky and Neklinovsky districts,” Golubev wrote.
He noted that wherever residents were left without electricity, specialists are carrying out restoration work using 113 emergency teams.
The authorities were also forced to block traffic on the Yeysk-Azov section of the road. Residents of the villages of Morskoy Chulek, Zadonye, Beregovoi and Dugino turned to rescuers for help, and about 20 people were evacuated.
