As of the morning of December 13, 100 thousand people remain without electricity in the Rostov region, the regional governor Vasily Golubev said in his Telegram-channel. Overnight, power engineers restored the power supply to more than 80 thousand residents of the Rostov region.
In particular, the high-voltage line providing power supply to the Aleksandrovka district of Rostov-on-Don and part of Aksai was repaired. Emergency crews determine the consequences of accidents.
Power outages in the Rostov region began on December 11 due to freezing rain and wind that cut off ice-covered wires. Unfavorable conditions remain in the region; frost and strong winds of up to 18 m/s are expected in the first half of the day on December 13.
