Police opened fire on a woman at the François Mitterrand Library station, BFMTV reported, citing its sources. The woman was completely wrapped in Muslim clothing and recited calls for terrorist actions.
The police arrived after receiving numerous reports from passengers on the train. The Paris prosecutor’s office said that the woman, among other things, threatened to blow herself up.
After the woman resisted an arrest attempt, she was shot in the stomach. Doctors are fighting for her life. No explosive device was found on her.
