ABC News, citing Ohta Seiki developer Ota Yuji, reported that about 200 mechanized wolf robots have been installed throughout Japan to combat increasing cases of wild animal incursions.
It is clarified that the robotic wolves have built-in speakers that make terrifying sounds and red LED eyes.
“There are about 180 “robot wolves” stationed in Japan. Wildlife representatives are very afraid of them,” Yuji noted.
