In the Oryol region, sambo sections were opened in 2 schools

New sambo sections have opened at Trosnyanskaya and Dmitrovskaya schools. Young residents of small towns and rural settlements can train there. This was reported by the press service of the regional council. The opening ceremonies were attended by honored guests – deputies, social activists, coaches, athletes, and government officials.
The sections were created as part of the implementation of the specialized project “Za Sambo”. It is needed to develop, popularize and promote sambo in Russia. In the Oryol region they have already opened 21 gyms for practicing this sport. More than a thousand people work there.
Sambo is gaining popularity every year. By the way, this is the only sport where Russian is recognized as the language of international communication.
