In the Novosibirsk region, the police joined the search for conscripts to issue subpoenas

There are already conscripts in the Novosibirsk region, who are looking for police officers to hand over mobilization summonses. This was announced by the military commissar of the region Yevgeny Kudryavtsev on the air of the regional TV channel OTS.

Answering questions from viewers and the host of the Region Life program, Mr. Kudryavtsev explained the procedure for searching for conscripts who need to be handed summons. According to him, initially an employee of the military registration and enlistment office or an authorized person is trying to establish the whereabouts of a citizen at the place of residence and work.

“It doesn’t work out – they can come again, say, in a day. It doesn’t work either – then certain lists are compiled and transferred to the police. And the police also have their criteria. They (the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.— “b”) also first try to find it at the place of residence and databases. If there is a suspicion of malicious evasion, they can also transfer documents to the investigating authorities, ”said the military commissar.

To a clarifying question whether there are already conscripts that the police are looking for, Yevgeny Kudryavtsev answered in the affirmative. But he did not indicate the number of those wanted, explaining that he “was not interested in this.”

During the live broadcast, the military commissar of the Novosibirsk region confirmed the data that about 2 thousand people are being called up in the region.
