Governor Shumkov: the water level in Tobol can rise to 11 meters
Governor of the Kurgan region Vadim Shumkov reported in his Telegram channel that the water level in the Tobol River is expected to rise to at least 11 meters.
The water level will be much higher than during the 1994 flood, the governor wrote in his Telegram channel. Water can flood not only the right side, but also the central part of the city of Kurgan, the Vostochny and Kulatsky microdistricts.
Shumkov advised to evacuate without waiting for the water to come.
