Why the Russian audience turned out to be disloyal

Taisiya Povaliy has been living in Russia for more than a year. The other day, the star went to Siberia on tour: the singer planned to give several solo concerts. However, the tour was cancelled. Tickets for Povaliy’s performances sold poorly. In none of the cities, the star could not gather a full house. And in Ulan-Ude and Chita, the organizers were forced to cancel Taisia’s concerts altogether.

For each performance, Taisiya receives around one million rubles. It turns out that the star has lost two million. The well-known promoter Sergei Lavrov does not see anything surprising in this.

“Partly this happened because of Ukrainian history,” assures the ex-director of Sofia Rotaru, promoter Sergey Lavrov. Everyone understands perfectly well that she is from Ukraine. And now our citizens are very patriotic. And they don’t understand: on whose side is Povaliy or the same Lorak. They understand: Ukraine and everyone else don’t want to go to the concert.

“As for Povaliy, I personally am not surprised at the disruption of her tour,” continues Lavrov. – She did not collect halls. Always, as they say, “three cripples in the hall.” She didn’t have any successful tours in my memory. Because Povaliy has never been a star number 1. She had corporate parties – yes, they were, but not much.

Lavrov believes that the Russian audience is not too loyal to Povaliy because of her repertoire. Despite the rather long stay on the stage, the singer has few big hits.

– Povaliy has one song that went to the people – “Borrowed,” continues Sergey. – Everything, more, in my opinion, there is nothing.

By the way, upon his return from Siberia, Povaliy will not sit idle in Moscow. Several combined concerts with her participation are planned. It is already known that the star will congratulate Ilya Reznik on his anniversary.
