In the Dinsky district of the Kuban, the annual show jumping competition for the ZSK prize was held

On Sunday, September 18, on the basis of the Gascogne equestrian complex, the final day of the annual show jumping competition for the ZSK prize was held. The tournament took place in the Dinsky district of Kuban. The best riders from the regional capital, Sochi, Goryachiy Klyuch, Dinsk, Krasnoarmeisky and Tikhoretsk municipalities, as well as from the Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol, Voronezh and Rostov regions took part in the event.

Commenting on the importance of this tournament, Yuri Burlachko, chairman of the ZSK, emphasized that representatives of neighboring regions are always invited to the competition. So, according to him, any sport tempers the character of the younger generation, strengthens the desire for new heights and has a unifying force. The head of the regional parliament added that every effort should be made to develop equestrian sport in the best traditions of the region.

In 2022, participants of all age categories with different levels of training competed for awards in the tournament. On the last day of competition in all classifications and routes, the difficulty and height of the obstacles were raised. According to the results of the struggle, the main award – an exclusive bronze sculpture of a rider on a horse in the youth category was awarded to Elizaveta Yasakova from the Krasnoarmeisky municipality. A horse named Chime helped the girl win the competition. In the adult category, Ainur Mekhbalieva from the Voronezh region and his horse Elegy became the best. It should be noted that the athletes who entered the top five, in addition to memorable prizes, also shared monetary rewards. The total prize fund of the tournament was 800,000 rubles. Separately, within the framework of the competition, the prize of the Krasnodar Krai CMD was raffled off. The prize fund was formed from the personal funds of young politicians.

Alexander Pogolov, chairman of the sports committee of the ZSK, noted that the past competitions only confirmed that equestrian sports are well developed in the Krasnodar Territory. The deputy thanked the riders for their excellent, spectacular performances and invited them to join the tournament in 2023. The participants of the races were also congratulated by the representative of the Ministry of Sports of Kuban Sergey Potanin and the deputy head of the Dinsky municipality Alexander Muntyan.
