Quarantine has been announced in one of the departments of the city hospital No. 20 in Krasnoyarsk. Two children in this department were found to have measles. This was announced by the chief sanitary doctor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Dmitry Goryaev.
“Today, seven residents of the region have measles, of which four are adults and three are children. All of them are treated in hospitals. The last two cases were registered in the Krasnoyarsk City Hospital No. 20 among children of one department, where quarantine was introduced until further notice. All contacts are under medical supervision,” said the chief sanitary doctor of the region in Telegram.
Since January, 40 people have been diagnosed with measles in the Krasnoyarsk Territory: 32 of them are adults and eight children. Mostly the unvaccinated were sick. In early May, the number of measles cases in Russia approached 1,000.
