Five Wildberries delivery points have closed due to security concerns in the border town of Grayvoronsky in the Belgorod region, which is regularly subject to shelling from Ukraine. How reported Minister of Agriculture and Food of the region Andrei Antonenko in his Telegram channel, the points were removed from the map due to requests from their owners and managers received by the company.

In total, there are 180 pickup points located in the Belgorod region, 175 of them are operational. Four points in the city of Grayvoron and one in the village of Gora-Podol are closed. By April 2, 12 pickup points, which had previously been removed from the map, resumed work in the Belgorod region. The currently closed pickup points will begin work as soon as possible.

Mr. Antonenko clarified that customer orders on the way to closed locations can be sent to other pickup points or cancelled. However, customers will not be charged any return shipping fees. According to the minister, the marketplace extended the storage of goods on the shelves of all distribution points in the Belgorod region and notified all customers in the region about what was happening.

The Belgorod region is subjected to daily shelling from Ukraine. Attacks in the region intensified in March. After several invasion attempts by sabotage groups and rocket attacks, the authorities asked residents of the border parts of the Grayvoronsky urban district to temporarily leave their homes. From the Belgorod region also transported more than 9 thousand children to other regions.
