In Taganrog, an intoxicated employee of the city administration began threatening a taxi driver with problems during an altercation, citing her acquaintance with the head of the administration and the leadership of the local police. Video recorded by a taxi driver spread on social networks and Telegram channels. The press service of the Taganrog administration told Kommersant-Yug that by the time of the incident the woman was no longer working in the city administration.

According to city media, the footage shows Anna Kasina, an employee of the Municipal Public Institution “Blagoustroistvo”, who decided to use a taxi service on the night of October 15-16. There was a child with her. During the trip, the woman had an argument with the taxi driver, believing that he was speaking rudely to her. The passenger threatened the driver to “cause problems,” citing her acquaintances in the administration.

After the incident, the press service of the Taganrog administration responded to journalists’ inquiries that Anna Kasina resigned of her own free will. “At the time of the incident, the employee of MKU “Blagoustroistvo” was no longer working,” noted the press service of the Kommersant-South administration. The administration did not specify how long ago Anna Kasina left her position.
