In the center of St. Petersburg, a group of actors in a uniform reminiscent of riot police, using dummies of a Kalashnikov assault rifle, staged the arrest of participants in a coaching meeting. Two residents of Moscow, 34 and 37 years old, ordered a “mask show” as a draw for participants in a coaching meeting on Leninsky Prospekt in St. Petersburg. Actors in “special forces” uniforms with airsoft weapons were supposed to arrest the guests.

According to “Fontanka”, so two businessmen from the capital decided to play a prank on their friends. According to the publication, nine men in riot police uniforms with machine guns got out of a civilian Hyundai car. The actors work for a company that specializes in pranks involving people in uniform.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 17 participants in the draw were detained. Protocols were drawn up against them under the article on petty hooliganism (Part 1 of Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation). A criminal case was also initiated under the article on hooliganism (Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The maximum penalty under this article is up to seven years in prison. The actors’ uniforms and equipment were confiscated.
