In Serbia, fans hung a banner in support of the Russian Belgorod at a Euroleague basketball game.

Two posters appeared in the stands before the meeting between Red Star and Partizan. It was written on them: “Belgorod, we are with you.”

The meeting took place on January 4 – Red Star won with a score of 88:72.

Meanwhile, due to the consonance of the names of the Serbian capital and the capital of the Russian region, confusion often arises (of course, this does not apply to the support shown above by Serbian fans), which is demonstrated even by high-ranking politicians.
