Russia has developed a droneport post office that can deliver parcels and documents to a client without human intervention. Nikolai Ryashin, General Director of Rusdronoport, spoke about the advantages of the technology and its appearance on the market.
“Russian developers have created a drone port post office, into which a drone can deliver parcels and documents without human intervention, including to hard-to-reach areas,” the head of the company said.
We already have a droneport prototype. This year it is planned to start selling on the market. The creators believe that the development will be popular with logistics companies and online markets.
Ryashin claims that the cost of delivery will decrease and will be from 200 rubles per parcel. This was achieved due to the autonomy of the droneport post office.
The developers eliminated the human factor in delivery and automated the process, reducing the time for data processing.
