Moreover, if initially the bill was about euthanizing only aggressive dogs, then in the near future, according to this document, the regions themselves will be able to determine the list and procedure for organizing “events” for the treatment of homeless animals “taking into account geographical, climatic, socio-economic and other specifics of the region.

Simply put, a license will be issued to shoot and bait all dogs in a row … Do we really not know how our officials work. You can, of course, call it a beautiful foreign word euthanasia, but the meaning does not change from this.

Although killing abandoned animals also costs money, which the regions most often do not have, but it will still be much cheaper and faster than investing in projects for sterilization, chipping and furnishing dog shelters.

By the way, the world leader in shooting abandoned animals is our friend China. Here he is ahead of the rest. In some provinces, the Chinese are even paid extra to deal with their four-legged friends on their own.

Dog advocates must have heard of the infamous Yulin Dog Meat Festival from June 21st to 30th. By this day, special groups are equipped that catch dogs around the country and do not end up with them immediately, but put them in cages to sell them later for meat. It’s also a staple in its own way.

In Europe, dogs are not shot at all. The Netherlands is the only country in the world where there are no homeless animals at all. And not because they were completely exterminated.

But we do not take an example from the worst. We have our own traditions.
