In Russia, the demand for performances of stars at New Year’s corporate parties has fallen

Companies in Russia have reduced budgets for organizing New Year’s corporate parties by 20% compared to last year, as RBC was told in the National Association of Event Organizers. It is noted that customer requests are mainly of a business nature, for example, summing up the results of the year or a congress of regional representatives.

NAOM emphasized that event agencies faced a large number of event cancellations after the start of partial mobilization in Russia. As noted in the association, the volume of cancellations has reached 20% or more, and it can become even higher. In addition, NAOM clarified that there are almost no requests for entertaining New Year’s corporate parties on the market.

Based on the data of the association, against the backdrop of a lack of demand, the fees of stand-up artists and comedians have almost halved, and now they range from 600 thousand to 1 million rubles. NAOM added that most of the clients prefer the local nature of corporate parties, choosing celebrations within departments in offices.

Representatives of event agencies, in turn, note a decrease in demand for performances by stars by 25-30% and a reduction in budgets for New Year’s events from customers up to 40%. Despite this, as experts have noticed, for many celebrities, prices for performances have not changed compared to last year.
