In Russia, almost 47 thousand cases of coronavirus infection were detected per day

Over the past day, 46,857 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Russia. This is 2441 less than the day before. The number of daily hospitalizations amounted to 2340 – 46.3% less than the previous figure (4354).
During the week, 288,580 cases of infection were detected in Russia, which is 22.6% higher than the previous week.
Regions leading in the number of new cases:
- Moscow – 6451 (3 011 025);
- St. Petersburg – 2930 (1 647 839);
- Moscow region – 2868 (1,052,463);
- Krasnodar Territory – 1629 (289,322);
- Rostov region – 1580 (399,989).
During the day, 83 cases died in Russia, which is seven people less than yesterday (90). The total number of deaths reached 384,083. During the day, 28,223 people recovered, in total – 18,495,961.
Since July 1, all coronavirus restrictions have been lifted in Russia. In the country revealed the first cases of infection with a new, more contagious sub-variant of the centaur omicron strain. Roszdravnadzor recommended resume vaccination in the regions.
