As of September 4, in Primorsky Krai, due to overflowing roads and damage to bridges, there is no transport connection with 12 settlements. The number of villages cut off from roads has significantly decreased in recent days – previously it was impossible to get to 37 settlements.
“Movement to Krasnoyarovka of the Yakovlevsky district, Polyana and Martynova Polyana of the Dalnerechensky district, Pokrovka, Sarovka, Novokreshchenka, Meteoritny, Izmailikha, Limonniki of the Krasnoarmeysky district, Podgornoye of the Kirov district, as well as Furmanovo and the Evgenievskaya hospital of the Olginsky district are still unavailable,” reports today press office government of Primorye.
According to Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region, four boat crossings continue to operate in the Krasnoarmeysky district and in the Dalnerechensky urban district. There are 144 people in five temporary accommodation centers, including 29 children. On the territory of ten municipalities, the region remains flooded: 119 residential buildings and 601 adjoining territories.
The day before, late in the evening, at a meeting chaired by the presidential envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Trutnev, declared23 municipalities were affected by floods in Primorye, 5,620 residential buildings and 10,255 household plots were flooded in 105 settlements, 46 bridges were damaged. More than 44 thousand residents of the region suffered from the flood. The damage to the region by the authorities of Primorye is tentatively estimated at 7 billion rubles.
Since the beginning of August, floods have been recorded in Primorsky Krai due to heavy rains. On August 15, a state of emergency on a regional scale was introduced in the region. On August 25, the state of emergency was raised to the federal level.
