In Poland, the number of people infected with “legionnaires’ disease” has increased to 158 people

The Rzeszów District Sanitary and Epidemiological Station reported that the number of people infected with Legionella had risen to 158 people.
At the moment, 106 patients are registered directly in Rzeszow and another 36 people fell ill in the Rzeszow region. So far, 18 people have died from Legionnaires’ disease.
Recall that an outbreak of legionellosis was recorded in the Polish Subcarpathia near the border with Ukraine a few weeks ago. The disease then spread to other regions of Poland.
The Sanitary Inspectorate called the source of contamination the water supply.
